One Track this Week chosen by new One UP recruit Sarah 

This weeks track of the week is chosen by our new team member @JerseyGirlSA, or as we're going to be calling her, Bendy, in light of her gorgeous surname...Thats secret though for now.

So there I was huddled up in between fellow Linkin Park fans in the Cape Town Stadium and as crazed and keen as ever for the show to start. There was chatter about who was opening for them but I paid that detail no attention, because I was so excited to see one of my all-time favourite bands.

On one slightly inebriated afternoon last year I made my way through to the LMS stage, an awesome component of the annual event called Synergy Live. It was me, a few of my friends and a whole lot of new faces. A set was well on its way and we decided to form part of the swaying and pseudo-salsa-ing that was taking place as people danced to Al Bairre.

Meg Roux, One UP contributor, spent a Saturday throwing coloured powder in the air for fun. Why? We are One Jo'Burg of course. Here's her round up:

For those of you who didn't spend Saturday 6 April baking your shoulders in the sun at We Are One colour festival Emmarentia Dam, you're probably wondering why there are photos of all these multi coloured people on your social media feeds. I was among those 15,000 people whose photos you're probably sick of, and although I'm still cleaning powder out of my ears, it was worth it.
